Did you know that Derby CVS is now delivering a new
training programme that is designed to meet the learning requirements
of all levels of staff, whether in the private, public or voluntary sector?
If not, then have a look at the new training programme and see if there
is something of interest to you and your staff members.
In addition to these set courses, Derby CVS is now offering an option
of two types of bespoke session:
- Personalised - which are tailored made sessions designed to address
the organisation's identified skills gaps. In this scenario, the facilitator
will work closely with you to design a course that best meets your individual
organisation's needs around governance, staffing skills gaps, charity
accounting or management training. The trainer will also help the group
identify for themselves areas that need addressing to comply with funders
contracts, or charity law. The facilitator will work with the group
members, developing an action plan that focuses attention on priority
areas for future improvements.
- Bespoke - which are management consultancy sessions whereby the facilitator
works with key members of the management team or committee at a strategic
level focusing on specific problems, or areas of concern within the
organisation and through the use of reviewing, planning and management
tools will help the organisation to address problem areas and/or develop
robust plans for its future and sustainability.
