Minimum wage increase from 1st October 2006

Proposals to raise the minimum wage in October 2006 have been made.

The adult rate will move to £5.35 per hour. The rate for 18 to 21 year olds will move to £4.45 per hour, and for 16 to 17 year olds to £3.30 per hour.
