Opportunity at NICE

NICE are looking for people with experience of working with NICE, to be lay members of their new 'consideration panels', working alongside health and social care professionals. These panels will look at topics suggested to NICE from all sources, prioritise and recommend them for NICE's future work.

This is a chance to use your experience to influence the future NICE topics.

The seven panels cover:

• Cancer
• Children, adolescents and maternity
• Heart and stroke
• Long-term conditions
• Mental health
• Conditions not covered by the other panels
• Public health

Your role would be to apply your own experience of the issues patients, carers and the public consider important, and your judgement, to the recommendation-making process.
