Looking for a VIP?
If you'd like to invite a Government minister to an event
you're holding, the Business Co-ordination Unit (BCU) may
be able to help.
The BCU is a Government unit that has been set up to increase
ministerial interaction with both the voluntary and community sector and
the business sector. The Unit's main objective is to provide support by
identifying and securing a suitable minister for your event - this can
be anything from a keynote speaker for a conference, a relevant chairperson
for a meeting or discussion, or someone to come along and open new premises.
Ministers are particularly keen on projects that impact on key areas such
as education, training, regeneration, crime, health and social exclusion.
( The BCU service is
free and the Unit's staff are happy to visit you to discuss how they can
support you best. To find out more you can visit the BCU website at www.rcu.gov.uk/bcu
or write to Business Co-ordination Unit, 10th Floor, Riverwalk House,
157-161 Millbank, London SW1P 4RR If you'd like to make an immediate enquiry
for a minister to attend a meeting or event you can call the BCU team
on 020 7217 3102.
