<p>Derby CVS works to support voluntary and community activity
in Derby. Over 200 voluntary and community organisations working in Derby are
members of Derby CVS, which was set up in 1973 as part of the Councils for Voluntary
Service movement.</p>
<p>We support voluntary and community organisations working
in Derby through:</p>

<li>capacity building</li>
<li>recruiting and planning volunteers</li>
<li>training and vocational development</li>
<li>promoting consultation & policy involvement</li>
</ul>

is free in the first year for small organisations and for others costs as little
